soft rotation is a concert series that took place for the first time in December 2023. Since then, we've organised 13 events. soft rotation is focused on sound art, electronic and electroacoustic music, and performance. The project emerged from a student initiative at the Academy of Media Arts Cologne (KHM). We understand ourselves as a solidaric network and see our work on soft rotation as a social and artistic praxis. Rotation is at the core of our concept and structures our curational processes as well as our work in the team.
