Aragorn Eloff is a self-taught exploratory musician based in Johannesburg. His work centres on modular synthesis, algorithmic and generative composition, and the body as an instrument. Since beginning his journey in electronic music in the mid-1990s, he has evolved from conventional compositional techniques toward process-based approaches, where musical form emerges through the interaction of multiple dynamic systems.

Working primarily with a DIY modular synthesiser, Eloff also uses the programming language SuperCollider to transform unexpected sources of data—including genomic sequences, climate models, environmental information, stock market activity, and personal data—into sound.
