'timefor' is the launch of a new online series which will showcase South African exploratory music and sound art on Radio 674FM based in Cologne, Germany. This first edition was recorded by Cape Town based music journalist and DJ Atiyyah Khan when she was visiting Cologne in June 2025. It features insights into experimental music, improv and sound art from South Africa. Episode1 includes music by Aragorn Eloff, Gonubie, Warrick Sony/The Kalahari Surfer, Nandele, Pillow Man, Carlo Mombelli, Garth Erasmus, Rhea Dally & Jacques Van Zyl, Martin Perret and hAshtAgblAck.n.o.i.s.e. This is the first of two shows featuring Atiyyah in 2026. - This entire series is hosted by Georg Dietzler and will air on the first Wednesday of every second month. Initiated by Cologne-based artist, sound art, experimental intermedia music organizer and networker Georg Dietzler together with Cape Town–based journalist, author, and DJ Atiyyah Khan/futurenostalgia_.
